This is what it’s about! A team being a team. A nice team photo as well as the year end game with players and coaches. @tyson_lautard8 and @tylerseminoff made much better career choices playing defence rather than being goalies…. See you all next year!

Today we were able to honour the legacy of @BaseballCANWNT member Amanda Asay by hosting a free clinic in her beautiful home of Nelson, BC.

Satisfaction is characterized by inner peace. It arises from generosity, honesty and what I call ethical conduct, a way of behaving that respects others’ right to be happy.
The ultimate source of happiness is within us. Not money, not power, not status. Some of my friends are billionaires, but they are very unhappy people. Power and money fail to bring inner peace. Outward attainment will not bring real inner joyfulness. We must look inside.
In toxic relationships, one person is always taking and the other is constantly giving.
In healthy relationships, both people give and receive with no strings attached.
They grant each other the freedom to ask without shame, accept without obligation, and decline without guilt.
If you are motivated by a wish to help on the basis of kindness, compassion and respect, then you can do any kind of work, in any field, and function more effectively with less fear or worry, not being afraid of what others think or whether you will ultimately reach your goal.

On today’s #Landsblog@heylandsberg shares all the lies his depression tells him. How would you respond if you heard him say these things? You would respond with kindness because you know this illness is not a choice. Why can’t you treat yourself the same way? #SickNotWeak
Compassion is the basis of our survival, not just a religious matter. Our very life depends on the affection of others, so it's in our interest to take their concerns into account. We must think more about inner values and cultivate compassion in our own lives.
