Over 80% of Californians support offshore wind (PPIC).
The State is working overtime to develop new wind and green energy power which will bring on needed electric supply and help achieve climate goals.

We-- @AsmDawnAddis, @AsmRickZbur & I visited a Massachusetts #OffshoreWind site to learn more so that CA can bring energy & jobs to fight #ClimateChange & meet our energy needs. Thanks Mass. reps @ChrisMarkeyRep, Rep. Chris Hendricks, & @reptonycabral for joining us.
We must act now to achieve our bold climate goals. Grateful to tour #offshorewind ports & workforce training facilities in Massachusetts w/ @AsmDawnAddis & @JimWoodAD2. Offshore wind will be transformational in meeting our climate goals & creating thousands of jobs in California.

Big news out of Sacramento, with Newsom and lawmakers reaching a deal that should result in state agencies buying large amounts of offshore wind and geothermal power on behalf of Californians, to get projects built that otherwise might not move forward: https://t.co/pN3kHGNRva
"Not only are these projects key to meeting the state’s ambitious climate agenda, they represent the launch of a new, #cleanenergy industry with the potential to reshape regional economies and generate thousands of jobs." #OffshoreWindCA

Our team is building the nation's first commercial-scale offshore wind project, Vineyard Wind. The project has reached another major project milestone! At 3500+ tons, the installation of the offshore substation (aka ESP) was the single heaviest lift during construction.
Our West Coast Director of External Affairs, Erik Peckar represented Vineyard Offshore at @ChamberEureka's Summer Family Fun Mixer at @RacintheAcres last week. Vineyard Offshore sponsored a night of fun for the Eureka community! #VineyardOffshore#California#Eureka#Summer
🧵Bringing back downtown San Francisco isn’t rocket science. We need the will to:
✅ Transform the financial district into a mixed use neighborhood. It never made sense for it to be just office. It should be office, housing, nightlife, restaurants, markets, entertainment, etc
