Mailman, board game designer, husband and father of 4! Currently working on Chrysopoeia - Lords of Alchemy, a strategy board game of Steampunk Alchemy!
Time for a new pinned tweet! I wanted to do a video with all the updated components & art for my #Chrysopoeia board game, & I used an original musical piece I recorded years ago. This video is more about theme than gameplay, but more to come!

@NoShelf_Control Just Coloma and Trickerion left on my wishlist - I've cleared off a couple others, like Everdell, Black Angel, and Pulsar 2849, but still haven't played any of them!
Yesterday we were celebrating a board gamer couples wedding. The challenge was what board game would you marry? And oh boy did we had fun with the challenge 😂 #boardgame#wedding#tgif#tabletopgames
@BG_HotTakes I might get a chance to try it at Saltcon next weekend, and I can get a like new copy on BGG geek market soon - just trying to stick to my game budget!
@MikeRisley Would love to play! And I may be mistaken, or maybe it's the collector's edition that is hard to find. The mindclash website has Trickerion Legends of illusion - is that the base game, or an expansion? Trying to find a copy with the dark alley expansion
@nerdoutwithus Hope so! I just have to figure out how to play it again myself LoL - lots of ideas since then, but haven't had the time to try any of them out. Might try to brainstorm at Saltcon next weekend if I can make it!
Hey @GameWhenever or any other #Everdell fans, is there an "essential" expansion that's worth getting right from the start? I just got the base game and haven't played yet, so I don't know if I need to worry about adding anything yet, unless there is a must have expansion?
@J_Milton1@BghtAdam Just think though, if you were a gentleman of leisure in Victorian England, you'd have way more time to play board games! Except you'd have to make your own. With brown, green, and blue tiles 🤣
@BG_HotTakes @kayentagames Great discussion guys! I've seen a few mentions of this game being high on a list of favorites for some on Twitter, but nothing like this review that I've found yet. Curious if you've looked into what the Upstairs Downstairs expansion adds with the new servants?
