@mike_petriello Reminds me of the old line: “DiMaggio never made a great catch”. The jump starts with reading the location of the pitch, the angle of swing, the hitter’s hip position at contact. A good outfield has already taken the first step as the ball is leaving the bat.
@ryanclary@IVoteClimate@Scott_Wiener Its both. ~25% of Abb bookings are for >28 days. People need short term lodging for numerous reasons: caring for ill parent, short gigs, transitional personal circumstances, etc
@IVoteClimate@Scott_Wiener Nope. You presentinting a classic false dilemna. Instead of restricting yet another form of housing (Airbnb), expand ALL housing types so property owners and renters have the greatest array of options for their particular circumstances which in reality are quite varied
Yikes. Just had an electrician over to install 240V outlet for Lvl 2 EV charger. He gave me an EARFUL about how overworked electricians are & how FEW people are coming into the trade behind his generation (he's mid-50s). Real bottleneck. Need to train an army of new electricians!

An EV has a far lower cost of ownership than an ICE vehicle so over the term of a lease, a more affordable option for everyone, especially working class folks who pay a disproportionately high pct of income on gas
@RepDanCrenshaw I’m old enough to remember when Republicans considered a tax credit as keeping one’s hard earned income rather than a gift from government

The @californiapuc NEM 3.0 prelim. decision is out. It's horrific! Highest solar fees in the nation. 80% reduction in NEM credits. Provides hollow incentives for EJ communities. Punishes small businesses, schools, & churches. Destroys the brightest solar market in the U.S.
It is inexplicable that the leading solar state, which literally *mandates* solar for all new construction, is now poised to make solar much more expensive, burdensome, and rife with uncertainty. Tens of thousands of jobs and ambitious climate goals at stake here.
