@ronsterd89 Mine have been going pretty good. Lots of gardening, lots of kayaking. Getting things done around the house. Fullfilled a long desire, to get a longer faster kayak.

I try to follow people who have similar interests to me. That's also why I post non education related posts about my interests. It shows who I am and that I am more than an educator. It helps build connections.

@donorsChoose and the CleartheList programs were started to try and get help from non educators to get supplies for the classroom. But most of what we see, especially with the clearthelist is educators helping educators. This begs the question, why? 1/3

When someone challenges one of my posts, I try to open a dialogue with them and help them understand the reality of what happens and what is needed in education. Sometimes it works out, sometimes not. But its worth the effort. 3/3

@lori_huntsman I tried to lift and extend supports in the middle working alone and lost control. The roof is now beside the shed on the ground. It will take 3 people to get it back up there.

@kumabair44 Working alone and accident prone. Never a good mix. The roof got away from me and avalanched in an uncontrolled fall to the ground but stayed in tact. It took a chunk of skin from my arm. I’ll be done by Tuesday or Wednesday.

@educator4ever36 @SBleftCA I was using donorschoose to get snacks for my club until they started providing meals. I still get bottles of water and Gatorade. If we are in the bus loop garden there’s no drinking fountain they are behind locked doors.

@MrsBorges33 Our custodians will help if asked. But every teacher puts things differently. I have two rooms. I’m on contract two weeks before teachers so I offer help.
