It is now Day 46 of the medical miracle that is Mitch McConnell. He is still at the hospital, allegedly in rehabilitation. But I have a question for the medical community, especially speech pathologists.
If he was able to carry on three conversations, I would imagine he no longer needs speech therapy. So outside of that, what exactly is he rehabilitating for after nearly seven weeks? Is he relearning how to transfer into a wheelchair? Sit up independently? I’m genuinely confused about what type of rehabilitation would typically require this length of stay.
TED CRUZ says he supports canceling August recess to pass SAVE.
"We should do anything and everything -- including working through the august recess -- to get that done."
🚨 WOW! Sen. Ashley Moody (R-FL) just tripled down saying she's REFUSING to agree to August recess with Mike Lee, and will be speaking with Senate GOP leadership to pass the SAVE America Act
"We're NOT going to agree to a recess. We're going to push forward!" 🔥
"We've GOT to get this back to the floor!"
"So many [more senators] have said they will NOT AGREE or consent to recess unless we get the SAVE America Act!"
"I can't tell you how many people in Florida, no matter where I go, want the Senate to vote on this." @AshleyMoodyFL
After you watch this, you will want to go to https://t.co/zDWKC9ODe2 and read all the FBI documents…in their own words, they tell you how bad they were …and you will understand how Joran van der Sloot happen to murder his second victim https://t.co/ewzgdKhtkE
Fauci’s 'performance' today made me sick. Smug arrogance. Zero remorse. Zero accountability. He refused to answer a single question.
Sharing this again as a reminder: He used your tax dollars to fund the coronavirus lab research in Wuhan—and worked with the IC to cover it up. We deserve the truth and accountability.
A funeral director who left the industry after 14 years told me exactly what a funeral actually costs to provide — versus what grieving families are charged for it.
The casket a funeral home sells for $3,200 costs the funeral home somewhere between $250 and $600 wholesale. The "basic services fee" every home charges — often $2,500+ — covers paperwork and staff time that legally must be disclosed but almost never is, upfront, until you're already sitting in the arrangement room. Embalming, which most states don't actually require by law, gets sold as "necessary" to grieving families who don't know they can decline it. A metal burial vault, required by many cemeteries but not by any state law, adds another $1,200–$1,800 for a concrete-and-steel box that costs a few hundred dollars to produce.
He told me the average American funeral now costs $8,300–$10,000. The same services, bought with full information, typically run $3,000–$4,500 less.
He said something that stuck with me: "The entire business model depends on one fact: nobody comparison-shops the worst day of their life. You have 48 hours to make ten decisions you've never made before, in a room designed to make you feel like cutting corners means you didn't love the person enough. That feeling is the markup."
He showed me 9 things almost no one knows about how funeral pricing actually works — and a federal law that's supposed to protect you but that most funeral homes are betting you've never heard of.
Here's the full breakdown.
The Biden tapes are already causing a stir in Washington, showing that he was mentally diminished before even running for President despite the claims of his aides. However, the most alarming elements were his repeated acknowledgment that he had classified material at his home...
🚨 NOW: Sen. ROGER MARSHALL (R-KS) has officially JOINED Mike Lee and President Trump's push to stay through August recess and fight for the SAVE America Act
MARSHALL: "Cancel August recess, pass the SAVE America Act."
Let's go! Keep pressuring EVERY GOP senator so recess can be defeated on the floor 🔥
