1) India is asking to cut: let rupee fall, buy less foreign goods, don't buy gold, don't travel abroad etc

We are basically cutting (except for taxes of course)

2) US is asking to speculate. Circular financing in AI, IR cuts talks, collab with China etc.

Both the markets are great. But, one is cutting while the other is building more leverage.

Indian is a high growth economy (at least, that's the expectation).

Therefore, people took a chance.

If the growth does not offset currency depreciation, there is no reason to invest.

FIIs/FPIs made money because they invested via PE/VC structures in early stage companies. And those firms IPO-ed at bloated prices. FII's money went from 5X to 500X.

Now, they are simply taking the gains out.
