ive NEVER spoken ab this online but for some reason i feel like it’s necessary rn. i almost died from an eating disorder in 2021 and then went on to suffer from 2 different ones for another 4 years, im not saying that for any sympathy but im saying it to make awareness that people’s comments towards me did not help, whether they came from a place of love or “concern”, they DID NOT HELP. what saved my life was my own realisations and myself, not OTHER PEOPLES COMMENTS. luckily I’m in a healthy state of mind now, and it took a long time!! but honestly if I wasn’t recovered i can guarantee that the scrutiny around ariana rn would trigger me a lot. NOT ariana herself btw!! the HATE around her! the comments about her are what can directly attack the mind of someone with an eating disorder. ariana has not done anything wrong, it’s the horrible people talking about her who have.

And none of it happens if we just move on. Donald Trump, his family, and his administration are robbing us blind, not just of our money, but of our faith in one another, and they have to answer for it. Truth and reconciliation, not revenge. Then we break the system that let them do it.

The question is not whether we will lose our democracy. The question is whether we will fight to take back what has already been stolen.

I learned in recovery that you can’t heal what you won’t name. Neither can a country.
