One of the most iconic boxes in basketball card history just sold for an incredible $1,488,100 USD.

The box? A complete 1986-87 Fleer Basketball wax box, home of the legendary Michael Jordan rookie card. But this wasn't just any box.

🐐 Michael Jordan personally signed the box and inscribed it Rookie Card Box 1 of 1.

The auction was part of Jordan's new Legacy Partnership with Upper Deck, and 10% of the proceeds are going to Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Now comes the impossible question...

PSA just shared another backlog update... and the numbers are moving in the wrong direction.

📦 Active backlog: 12.4 million cards
⬆️ Up from 11 million just two weeks ago.

According to PSA, the increase was driven by:
• Higher submission volume in premium service tiers
• A surge of submissions before the 45-day eligibility deadline
• Convention season submissions

The good news?
PSA has officially opened its fifth grading facility in Plano, Texas, which should help increase grading capacity moving forward.
