For the record, I made GHC 0 from Grind Day and the songs from that period. It was a learning experience that shaped how I approach ownership and agreements today.
I'm not a religious folk buh I'm just gonna say this.
Most people claiming people are jobless because they attend crusades are biased and hypocritical. Same people go to club every weekend and even spend more money. Same people go to concerts and stadiums etc.
You claim the westerners don't do gathering. So who are those on the football stadiums, who are those on the music concerts, who are those on western festivals huh 🙄
It's high time you let Christians be Christians and pagans be pagans. Even Muslims gather at Meca.
Let everyone do what works for them, stop blaming the churches, and not only jobless people go to camps. It is opened for everyone.
This whole statement is nothing but hypocrisy in a suit. Let’s not pretend, it’s complete bullshit.
You now want to talk about justice and due process, but where was this concern when innocent protesters were being beaten? Where was your voice when journalists were harassed, or when Kaaka was killed and nothing came out of it? Police men in uniform beaten? Ghanaians haven’t forgotten.
Now, just because it’s Wontumi, suddenly “rights” and “law” matter?
Wontumi has long been known for illegal mining, destroying rivers and lands, building a media empire on division and threats, and bragging about power and money like he owns the country. Allegations of contract scams in tens of millions of dollars. If this is the kind of person you’re rushing to protect, why should we trust you to lead in the future?
His “whereabouts remain unknown”? EOCO doesn’t need to live-stream investigations.
And let’s not forget “the law is the law” was your own hymn when the NPP was in power. You used it to justify every heavy-handed action, every silence, every abuse. Now you want exceptions? Sorry, it doesn’t work that way. Or because the clearing head mistress is now under suspension you know things wont slide under the table.
If you truly believe in democracy, then you should welcome this investigation. If Wontumi is innocent, let him prove it in court like any ordinary Ghanaian would be forced to. But trying to protect him behind big grammar and fake concern? That just shows where your loyalties lie, not with Ghana, but with your party.
We want leaders who defend the people, not the powerful.
So don’t come crying about democracy only when it suits you. Ghanaians are wide awake now. And we won’t be fooled again.
After all the mess you have caused, it is in your own interest to try and earn the credibility of the ordinary Ghanaian.
