@Channel4News has been doing an amazing job in shedding the light on important elements of the 🇵🇸 life under the 🇮🇱 occupation. Elements that western public opinion seems purposely to turn a blind eye to. Here’s a glimpse into what 🇵🇸s face in the West Bank.
Just came across an appalling video of a Palestinian father carrying in two plastic bags the remaining body parts of his kids killed in the Israeli airstrike on the Al-Ahli Baptist hospital in Gazza. “This is all of them”, he kept saying…#Gaza_Genocide
Harrowingly shocking picture! A necessary evil as some western media would shamelessly argue…This is blatant war and GENOCIDE targeting civilians.#Gaza_Genocide
At least 500 civilians mainly children and women killed in a bomb blast by the IDF at a hospital in Gazza. 🇮🇱 hit new sickening levels of violation of international humanitarian law in total impunity. 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇫🇷 are accomplice in this genocide. #Gaza_Genocide
''Ironically, our homes, which are meant to be sanctuaries, often transform into chambers of brutality for women. In Tunisia, a staggering 72.51% of cases of violence occur within the confines of the home, with husbands accounting for 48.46% of the perpetrators."
Shocking statement by @TnPresidency on sub-Saharan African migrants that is apparently endorsed by some Tunisians!!! Just appalling! https://t.co/bzz3x1ha3o via @FRANCE24
Girls crying in agony as they’re told that they will have to leave the university & go home as the Taliban have BANNED female university education in Afghanistan.
Painful to hear. How can we sit idly by as millions of girls are denied their human rights.
After years of covering the Gaza Strip as a freelance photojournalist for the New York Times, I was informed via an abrupt phone call from the US outlet that they will no longer work with me in the future.
This diplomatic row with #Morocco is the evidence that #KaisSaied is blowing up 🇹🇳 diplomacy decades long stance of neutrality over #WesternSahara and the #Polisario issue.
Another man intervened politely asking them to speak quietly and respectfully. One of the two men run to him, wanted to hit him yelling:You Ennahda b***.Thank god 25th July came so we could clean up the country from you! Utterly shocked and sad that polarisation hit new levels 🇹🇳
I witnessed a very sad scene at the airport of #Tunis. I was queuing with hundreds of passengers to get our passports stamped when two middle aged men started quarreling with an officer (the two men were rude, impolite and wrong). 1/2
@Ferjani9arwi Well some people were expecting Saied to call for fresh early elections seeing the political stalemate at the time. Those who still support him are the ones who have Ennahda syndrome.
@Ferjani9arwi Heartbreaking what’s happening! Many saw in the 25th July an opportunity to push for further reforms and expected Saied to call for fresh elections. His speeches are always negative and highly divisive.
@Ferjani9arwi I think many would have supported Saied if he would have called for early elections (legislative and presidential) after he suspended the parliament on the 25th July. What’s happening now is just a farce and an insult to those who died defending #Tunisia/s freedom and democracy.
