I witnessed a very sad scene at the airport of #Tunis. I was queuing with hundreds of passengers to get our passports stamped when two middle aged men started quarreling with an officer (the two men were rude, impolite and wrong). 1/2

@Ferjani9arwi Heartbreaking what’s happening! Many saw in the 25th July an opportunity to push for further reforms and expected Saied to call for fresh elections. His speeches are always negative and highly divisive.

@Ferjani9arwi I think many would have supported Saied if he would have called for early elections (legislative and presidential) after he suspended the parliament on the 25th July. What’s happening now is just a farce and an insult to those who died defending #Tunisia/s freedom and democracy.
