@MHKogath This is no doubt more natural now that handhelds and consoles aren't massive power differences anymore.
That said, I hope we still get more "portable-esque" games like Rise that target lower spec systems, even if all the games end up on every system going forward.
@JoeMerrick I really loved the games, but the hate was real. Friends said it looked boring, lazy, hated that there were only new Pokemon, bad designs, etc. Online was the same story.
It's been fascinating to see some saying the games weren't hated when I lived through the whole thing.
@SpaceWithAir@Wario64 Online only didn't stop them selling physical discs with data on them for PS5/Xbox Series. Key-cards are completely fine in this case.
They're just be stingy and not putting it on key-cards so it can't be resold or shared. Hope that extra couple dollars is worth it to them.
@eliz0r@PlayStation Not only are their choices disconnected, but their communication has been awful.
Acting oblivious to the current situation is very likely going to hurt them far more than they've calculated.
@Gnils0@pokejungle@SerebiiNet Scarlet and Violet didn't have a Battle Tower and so I think a lot of people were hoping Champions could fill that void for a single player challenge.
@NelsonAG@ProGamersVE@Undercoders@DavidJaumandreu Worth noting that your review is marked as 9/100 on Opencritic instead of 9/10.
I'm not sure if that's something you control or not, but it's probably worth trying to fix.
@getonthestiix@Wario64 I'm as frustrated as anyone else about the removal of discs but let's stop pretending like digital sales run the same time as physical sales.
You could take a picture of a PS5 game on sale physically and then a Steam game at full price and make the same argument in bad faith.
@Wario64 Why in the world would you even need a second Xbox account for split screen?
The PS+ requirement probably also stems from the fact that they want Xbox accounts linked to every person playing.
This is so stupid, what are you doing Xbox.
Honestly a deal breaker.
@thesev_115 @jsc31994 @ZhugeEX@Wario64 I would never let an LLM commit code to a project I hadn't personally reviewed, tested and fine-tuned myself.
I've had points where AI has been incredibly confident in a change that ended up breaking my code.
It can be incredibly helpful, you just need to know where to use it.
