@DancingMew@Starkeaw@Yuno951_@Campbell_Trio@MeliaHiragi I was hoping he was just ignorant of how oxygen deprivation can cause cardiac arrest. How disappointing.
Even with drugs in the system the thin skull rule applies to criminal courts, so the presence of drugs is entirely moot.
@Starkeaw@Campbell_Trio@DancingMew@Yuno951_@MeliaHiragi Second, arguably worse, compressing the carotid sinus causes the brain to suffocate even as the lungs work. The brain sends the same speed up signal to the heart, and it won't slow down until it gets air. The heart will keep beating rapidly until it fails.
@Starkeaw@Campbell_Trio@DancingMew@Yuno951_@MeliaHiragi First is conventional loss of oxygen. The hearts a very active muscle and without a fresh supply of oxygen tissue starts to die. While this is happening the brain is also deprived and sends signals to the heart to speed up to try and get oxygen. This can cause it.
@_Jyggalag_ The only remake/remaster I think was worth the effort was Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions.
They did a phenomenal job remaking that, unfortunately, for the PSP lol
@_Jyggalag_ It's all very much in line with what you would expect from a few punk rock nerds, living in Maggie Thatcher's UK, living through The Troubles that was directly caused by regressive authoritarian policies.
@_Jyggalag_ I've picked up a couple of the OG Rogue Trader manuals from 87, and it's all dripping with satire and sarcasm. From an Inquisitor named Obiwan Sherlock Clousseau, to the joke that Birmingham is a sunless backwards planet.
