...Both the CRA & Canada Benefit if: -Taxpayers Bill of Rights is binding -Ombudsman gains the power to act - Cut back the CRA & decentralize their power
@WSOnlineNews As a simple resource economy, carrying water & hewing wood for others, Canada can be manipulated by criminals & foreign powers. And corruption among our own career bureaucrats helps to keep us there. Tech warriors are either crushed or head elsewhere: https://t.co/2s0owXCWhr
@denisebatters Time to start questioning why good security gets blocked in Canada… benefiting criminal & foreign interference. Which bureaucrats are advising against heightened protections? https://t.co/2s0owXCWhr
@Dave_Eby You’re locking in tax write-offs so they can be applied back 3 years… the most profitable in their operational histories.
No real estate fees, no transfer taxes, no carrying costs… just sign and let the taxpayer eat the cost on as many units as the developer wants to dump.
There is a new book coming out by the end of 2026... begging Canadians to read the field and to insist on strategically addressing the huge security gaps that foreign and criminal interference is pouring through.
Here is the opening:

@TheFundView@sunlorrie@TheHillTimes Simply choose your sources and verify through corroborating experts. Knowledge takes work to accumulate.
And counter with facts, not labels
@TheFundView@sunlorrie@TheHillTimes It is so tiring that labels have become the response to everything. Critical thinking is a global skill that most people could invoke… and similar thoughts & approaches will occur among unrelated groups worldwide. The simplistic thought that they must be conspiring is ludicrous.
Intelligence reports confirm Organized Crime & their foreign power clientele constantly look to influence & infiltrate Canada’s bureaucracies. Their success is seen in inappropriate procurement & contracts, billions in lost Treasury, lowered security… https://t.co/Nyop19E1Mn
Taxpayers pay the cost for a watchdog… but are purposely given one that is toothless
The Taxpayers Ombudsman’s office was created when the CRA was caught red-handed abusing power. But it is a false mea culpa, a smokescreen, when that office is powerless: https://t.co/szTsVwM8uo
@coreyhoganyyc Hey Corey, does that mean you will stop making your opinions known on Provincial and Municipal policy? That will free up a LOT of your time to address this constituent’s need that you have basically ignored: https://t.co/IuX11YAcL1
@coreyhoganyyc You know what would be really nice? If my MP would question why Canada no longer has WFI's capability to detect illicit goods in cargo and to then follow up with our AML tech to find the backers of illegal drugs, human trafficking, & vehicle theft rings: https://t.co/1pQaoNBsDL
@coreyhoganyyc One of the things I love about engineers… we don’t brag until the bacon is tangible, sitting in the home fridge
Read this post & my comment below it. WFI truly delivered, bureaucrats truly & intentionally undermined us, and you truly refuses to represent

@mandaobserver@JohnPasalis This is taxpayer money being tossed at a random few who will rapidly flip & profit. In 1976 Vancouver ran a Habitat conference where False Creek townhouses were built on leased city land. The chosen families made many multiples on these locations, driving area costs up… not down
@PercyDowne@adamchamb Tax Reform is way past due. Without it the CRA and its 59000 personnel remain ripe for abuses and corruption:

Canada’s Taxpayers Ombudsman is a watchdog with no teeth. He sees the abuses but his mandate prevents him from plain speaking.
So we should all be happy that he broke protocol and just stated the Tax Act is “completely nuts!”

@MelissaLantsman Please look at how the border security tech WFI developed, at the request of Cabinet ministers, was intentionally trashed by career bureaucrats. Foreign influence & criminality is a growing issue inside our Public Service… as CISC has reported to the PMO:
https://t.co/IuX11YAcL1
Canada’s career bureaucrats: no accountability, no real path to punishment for corruption, & regularly being wooed by Organized Crime to look the other way.
Government employment contracts need to be much more stringent & decision tracking installed.
