The Rangers are constantly in a state of flux. They're moving both down and up in the draft, they're trading and not trading Trocheck, they're listening on Schneider and they're not listening on Schneider.
David Pagnotta: Re NHL draft: The Rangers are trying to...move up, the 7th and 8th overall picks are available with Seattle and Winnipeg - Inside Sports (6/23)
@xab1ball@NickZararis I'm fine with the Rangers being bad next year but it has to be with trading Trocheck and getting more assets, prospect, picks etc.
Quick, before everything changes! @Peter_Baugh and I have the latest about what we're hearing on...
- Trocheck trade coming, even as suitors shift
- Lafrenière staying put
- Schneider contract talks quiet
- A couple UFA targets

@prurardi Honestly they should, this off season should be about moving pieces to acquire young players and picks but they can't even seem to be able to do that
I’ve heard Chris Drury has been pushing hard to acquire Tuch’s rights, but appears (at least as of right now) he’s been outbid. Take that for what it’s worth.
