Ladakh is now getting the Kashmir treatment.
The tragic irony cannot ignored - #SonamWangchuk was one of the first to congratulate Modi on #Article370 abrogation, now he's being arrested by the same BJP Govt & being called a agent & traitor by the IT Cell.
But the #LadakhProtest is not about Wangchuk - it's really about the legitimate demands of Ladakhi people - who have been peacefully agitating for 6 YEARS for the same (and have been snubbed every time)
This unfortunate violence shouldn't be weaponised by Delhi to hide its incompetence...it will only alienate an entire segment of people in a sensitive border region.
