India’s biggest obstacle to progress isn’t a lack of talent or capital. It’s a culture where kids are discouraged from asking questions, corruption is normalized, institutions lose credibility, relationships become transactional, people feel compelled to play a part, credit is stolen from those who do the work, and political dishonesty is too often rewarded.
A nation cannot progress faster than its culture of truth, curiosity, integrity and accountability.
The real test isn’t whether we can criticize this culture - it’s whether we have the courage to stop participating in it. Ask the uncomfortable question. Refuse the shortcut. Give credit where it’s due. Demand integrity from institutions and leaders - and practice it ourselves.
If we want a different India, we have to stop rewarding the behaviors that created this one.
Parents who think they’re doing their kids a favor by building property and assets for them may actually be doing the opposite.
When you remove the struggle, you can also remove the hunger, resilience and motivation that create success.
Give your children a great education. Give them strong values. Give them opportunity.
But don’t handicap them with an easy life.
How to succeed in life?
Talk softly. Eat sensibly. Sleep sufficiently. Work patiently. Think creatively. Behave decently. Earn honestly. Save regularly. Spend intelligently.
Simple rules, but difficult to master.

Almost every career is becoming partly sales. Employees pitch ideas, founders pitch talent and capital, creators pitch brands, freelancers pitch themselves. Being good at the work and being able to create demand for the work are two separate advantages.
India is developing the wrong model of lazy “community thinking”—where identity, tribe and group consensus replace independent thought.
In the age of AI, that is a dangerous handicap.
India must encourage “individual thinking”: question, reason, challenge, create and think for yourself.
AI will commoditize conformity. The future belongs to independent thinkers.
The reason scrolling is so addictive isn't that every post is great; it's that you don't know which post will be great. Unpredictable rewards hijack your brain's dopamine system far faster than guaranteed satisfaction ever could.
The older I get, the more I realize that showing up is the key to life.
It sounds so simple, but it's surprisingly rare. Because it's easy to do when you're getting patted on the back for it. It's easy when the rewards feel certain. It's easy when the progress is clear.
But most people stop when it's none of those things. Few have the courage to keep showing up through the valley.
So, if you want to win, just show up. Show up when it’s hard. Show up when no one’s watching. Show up when you don't feel like it. Show up when the rewards are uncertain.
Show up.
Never bet against the person who just keeps showing up.
Shamelessly promote yourself.
The world is full of incompetent people who aren't ashamed to promote themselves.
So if you're competent, it's your obligation to promote yourself.
Underrated life advice: Just stay in the game. The best things in life are a result of compounding. But you can’t compound if you let yourself get taken out of the game. Whatever storm life throws your way, just roll with it. Adapt. Survive and advance. Always stay in the game.
The brain is designed to learn through constant repetition and active, hands-on involvement.
Through such practice and persistence, any skill can be mastered.
Most people don't even attempt long form anymore. They've convinced themselves there's no future left in it. That's exactly why there's so much room for the few who actually try.
Every skill you don't use, your brain slowly unlearns to save energy. It assumes anything unused is unimportant. This is why things you learn but don’t practice eventually fade away. Your brain recycled it because you stopped proving you needed it.
The world is becoming harsher for people who need motivation to begin. Tools are easier, information is cheaper, competition is faster, and the only serious separator left is execution.
Stop being scared. It's killing you.
If you were scared to swim, the only way to fix it was to swim.
If you were scared to ride a bike, the only way to fix it was to ride a bike.
Action eliminates fear. Always has.
In content, you're either a sniper or a machine gun. One shot, perfectly placed, or ten shots and you learn from whichever ones land. I've always been the machine gun. Being wrong faster just means you get to being right faster too.
