I love @exedev for quick ideas on the go and the mobile app makes it even easier!
I built a bunch of offline mini games literally sitting on the tarmac https://t.co/irf3H0koDY
Submitted a side project app to @Apple via App Store Connect and it’s been waiting review for over a week now. Anyone have experience how long their first approval took?
@FUCORY I’ve been working at reducing ai slop tests but in the meantime agents have been insane at hill climbing CI efficiency that I could never imagine setting up myself
How to get corporate ai adoption.
Build a data agent
Make it available only in public channels (intially)
Take requests for additional connectivity / tools seriously and add wherever possible
Praise use in public
Adoption
While I miss the highs and lows of coding by hand I find so much more joy in getting things done I never would’ve had a justification for before. Maximizing test speed, pushing the envelope of build times, actually finishing side projects!
@thorstenball I could literally talk / soapbox about this all day. Am constantly nerd sniping everyone I know to drag them into the convo. Lmk if you ever want to talk about it! Have thought about recording a talk on it with some engineers at our company who feel similarly!
@gitsecops That’s fair I’ve always found middling success with the static scanners and have found the biggest value to actually just be the compliance check the box
@gingerhendrixai Almost all code I thought was written well with well thought out abstractions eventually became a spaghetti of defensive code and bandaids anyway as real traffic hit it and worst it never got refactored because it was to expensive time wise too
@thorstenball@badlogicgames Nope and I think pretending like so much handwritten code was artisanal and not half copy pasted stack overflow edited until it runs / is compiled is silly.
This is something we realized really early at @tolt_iq and partnered with @pydantic and @temporalio to bring into our platform almost a year and a half back!
It’s truly amazing the gains and dividends it has paid for us and our clients!
Durable objects by @Cloudflare are fascinating primitives
For a side project I decided to only use them as my storage primitive and watching how agents stitch them together to do operations I’d normally do on a single db with joins or locks is fascinating!
Agents seem to have an incredible grasp on how they work and their limitations and workarounds
Being obsessed about driving down cost to serve has never failed to uncover areas our system is behaving suboptimally not only in the cost department but also in serving our customers.
One of my favorite things about working with our team is the things we’ll create just to have some fun competition. This was a fun weekend project.

Private equity teams shouldn't have to rebuild the same IC memos, tearsheets, and LP updates for every deal.
That's why we built Blueprints. Upload any templatized firm document. ToltIQ converts it into a reusable blueprint and populates it automatically with information from whatever deal is in front of you.
Less time on structure. More time on the judgment calls that actually move a deal forward.
