@besslilburne It’s convenient to blame someone else rather than take ownership of your own problems. We did it in 2016 with the Brexit vote. We seem to have realised relatively quickly that wallowing in self-pity does not work but the Argentinians are still labouring under that delusion.
@KakoFLR Absolute fantasy. Fishing and oil is relatively small. Wind power is possible. Overall, it would eventually be a net positive but it ultimately wouldn’t generate anywhere near enough total ongoing revenue to significantly prop up the Argentine economy.
@binaryfootball He’s correct though. There is no point in this counting down rule unless the refs are on it from the start. It should be nothing to do with the ‘vibe’ of the game or letting it flow. The rule either applies or it doesn’t. So far the Champ refs have been wildly inconsistent.
@mattletiss7@BoroMFC1996 Failing to fulfil a fixture is not cheating. We accepted the forfeit. League went further with deduction partly due to Southampton and others crying about it. We appealed and Southampton cried even more and threatened legal action so the deduction stood. People in glass houses…
