The Democrats proposed that after they had already gerrymandered the entire northeast in their favor and/or had gerrymandering in process. The bill (H.R. 1) would not retroactively undo those already completed or in process.

Mamdani should not have called Griffin out specifically for his own political purposes. The Chicago HQ move is likely a factor in why he did. Regardless, it was in poor taste.

In addition, as positions are replaced … it may be in Miami. And policy may dictate position transition to Miami.
