I’m Tsawwassen First Nation. We’re a Coast Salish Nation with longstanding connections to the land and waters around Tsawwassen. Since our treaty took effect in 2009, we’ve been a self-governing First Nation with our own Constitution, laws, government and 724-hectare land base.

@Cherie1441238 @valdombre They can call for it all they want. If the province doesn’t negotiate, Nations simply go to the courts and it ends up costing far more and the outcome is the same.

@FRPollock @valdombre 97.5% of Reserves in Canada have fresh water. Not sure you’re up to date with Indigenous issues. If you’re a realtor you should at least have visited some Nations around BC.

@BelandFran15853 @Nrvous00 Hinduism isn’t ‘paganism.’ It’s a diverse family of South Asian religions with its own ancient philosophies, scriptures, traditions, and concepts like dharma, karma and moksha. Calling it ‘pagan’ is just an inaccurate catch-all.
