controlling mothers end up raising codependent daughters/children. if you make your child feel like they cannot make a decision without you, they will continue to look for you in all of their future decision making. they will feel insecure, anxious and overthink their decisions-
“why arent clothes made as well anymore” “why am i scared to ask my boss for PTO” “how is rent so high” “why wont Biden do the right thing” “why doesnt my degree matter” what if I told you these all have the same very depressing very real answer
acknowledging that you are a sensitive person is the first step. then realizing that you tend to react to things in a purely emotional state is the second. then reflecting on how your emotional reactivity makes you feel after it happens is the third.
“If my child can’t Doordash neither can the teacher”
We’ve truly lost the art of kids understanding they can’t do what adults can do.
If you can Doordash you can pack your child a lunch stink!
Thought I was doom scrolling Twitter after a long ass night but it was actually just on @savannanichole1 profile the whole time. Could not understand why so many 2020 tweets were popping up🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
@justhalesss I was actually thinking today I need to start getting Wilks tall socks because I definitely still buy the “cool” ankle/no show socks we all wanted☠️
