Ryan Reaves has officially announced his retirement from the @NHL after 16 seasons.
From Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ryan played major junior hockey for the WHL’s Brandon Wheat Kings beginning in the 2004-05 season and was subsequently drafted by the @StLouisBlues in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Ryan returned to the Wheat Kings for two additional seasons before turning pro ahead of the 2007-08 season.
On October 11, 2010, Ryan made his NHL debut, and on January 12, 2011, he scored his first career NHL goal. Ryan became a steady presence for the Blues, appearing in 419 games across seven seasons with the club before joining the @penguins during the 2017 offseason and later moving to the @GoldenKnights in February 2018. Ryan played 209 games with the Golden Knights from 2018 to 2021, moving to the @NYRangers during the 2021 offseason.
Ryan joined the @mnwild partway through the 2022-23 season, playing with the club until the conclusion of that season, signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs in July 2023. Ryan played two seasons with the @MapleLeafs before playing this past season with the @SanJoseSharks. Ryan concludes his NHL career with 962 regular-season games played.
In a social media post published earlier today, Ryan noted: “I may not be on the ice anymore, but I know I will always be close to hockey in one way or another.”
Congratulations on your retirement, Ryan, and welcome to the NHL Alumni Association!
Thanks to Robert Kraft, Jonathan Kraft, Mike Vrabel and the New England @Patriots for having me at training camp this morning. Now I’m ready for football season. Brings a whole new meaning to Boys of Fall.
FSD Will change the way you look at the world and you'll wonder why you ever considered buying a car that didn't drive itself or why anyone in the world would.
Additionally it's a really nice car and you learn quickly that "range anxiety" was just an effective meme that the oil and gas or legacy car companies injected into the social subconsciousness.
I couldn't recommend more and outside of specific use cases/needs don't think anyone should be buying a new car that isn't a Tesla at this point.
Did I mention it fucking drives itself?
