You can’t just give up on someone because the situation’s not ideal. Great relationships aren’t great because they have no problems. They’re great because both people care enough about the other person to find a way to make it work.
Anger is a secondary emotion. If someone is angry, they were something first. There's some other painful or uncomfortable emotion under the anger that is not getting dealt with directly and is getting turned into anger to mask the primary emotion in order to avoid vulnerability.
You can't heal back to the version of you before you got hurt. Heal who you are, not who you were. It's natural to hate those who hurt you, but it's hard to heal when you are hating. Time doesn't heal, but you get better at surviving. Time will always reveal what you didn't heal.
