Marcella Club announces @KingCollinsGolf as the designers of its second course. Some holes of the resort’s first course, designed by Tiger Woods’ @tgrdesignbytw, are expected to open to members later this year: https://t.co/Z4vUehwvve
@incolnlay@EffTruck Can’t fault your choice. Royal Dornoch will always be my favourite of any course I’ve ever played. The view as you approach the 3rd tee is as awesome as it gets.

President Donald J Trump,
White House,
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Northwest,
Washington,
District of Columbia, DC.
Dear President Trump,
I am writing to express, in the clearest terms possible, that your suggestion of Canada becoming the 51st state of the United States is not only implausible but deeply offensive to the vast majority of Canadians. The very notion provokes outrage, not interest. Canada is a proud, sovereign nation with its own democratic values, institutions, and identity—an identity that we cherish and will defend.
Your past conduct toward our former Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, was not only undiplomatic but also displayed a profound lack of respect. It contributed to a widening rift between two neighboring nations that once shared deep mutual respect and cooperation.
Your tenure in office has left the United States economically fractured, socially divided, and diplomatically isolated. Your criminal conviction, history of draft evasion, and disregard for constitutional principles have damaged the credibility of the office you hold. From attacking the judiciary and mocking the rule of law, to manipulating markets and undermining trusted institutions, your actions have consistently prioritized ego over country.
Your baseless allegations regarding fentanyl entering the U.S. through the Canadian border, your erratic stance on tariffs, and your delusional belief that you alone can govern the world, only deepen international concern. The claim that you could resolve the war in Ukraine on your first day back in office, over 100 days ago, now stands as yet another empty promise.
Furthermore, the disrespect you showed toward President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a leader defending his nation against aggression, is yet another example of your disdain for true leadership. Your cabinet selections, many lacking in qualification and decorum, reflect a government driven more by personal loyalty than by competence or vision.
Your policies, supported by powerful figures like Elon Musk, have stripped essential services from Americans, particularly affecting seniors and the vulnerable. From reckless threats to seize the Panama Canal to absurd fantasies about acquiring Greenland, your geopolitical ambitions reveal a disturbing detachment from reality.
The recent manipulated spectacle near Butler, Pennsylvania, your influence on volatile markets, and the unraveling of America's international standing point to a dangerous trajectory—one that risks reducing the U.S. to the status of a struggling state in global affairs.
Meanwhile, Canadians look on with increasing unease. Your disregard for international treaties, such as the auto pact under USMCA, and the hostile environment you foster through trade wars and misinformation, have pushed our countries further apart. Canadians do not aspire to become part of a failing empire led by someone who flirts with authoritarianism and self-declared divinity.
Canada stands strong. From coast to coast, we celebrate our diverse population, our values of tolerance and freedom, and our commitment to democratic governance. We will not kneel to threats or be swayed by rhetoric rooted in fear and fiction. Our border is more than a line on a map—it is a boundary of principle, culture, and national pride.
Lastly, allow me to remind you: under Canadian immigration law, a convicted felon may be deemed inadmissible. This fact alone speaks volumes about the widening gulf between your vision of leadership and the standards we uphold as Canadians.
Mr. Trump, the world sees through the illusion. America—and the world—deserves better. So does Canada.
Sincerely,
Rob McConnell,
A Proud Canadian & Broadcaster.
@TheDiaAdams I recommended your guide up until pre-covid. After my son and his family were last there, I stopped doing so. He explained that they did not see any value to going anymore. Bear in mind they were able to buy Florida resident tickets and lived in the Orlando area.
When my MAGA family members begin to struggle financially,
I will not help them.
When my MAGA family members struggle to make their mortgages,
I will not help them.
When my MAGA family members struggle to put food on their tables,
I will not help them.
I have the means,
But I will not help.
My MAGA family members made a choice.
They voted against my wife, my daughters and my son.
I will never forget or forgive them.
They actually voted against themselves,
But they’re too fucking stupid to realize it.
Life is about choices.
They made theirs,
I’ve made mine.
