Reminder that the investigator who was hired by the city after the shooting cleared the police of any wrongdoing and even praised some of them. Two officers were finally charged with child endangerment and indicted by a grand jury, but there is no word on whether the rest of the officers involved will face any consequences. The charges would only equate to two years of jail time, which I'm sure they won't even serve. They'll get out much sooner, if they even get sent to jail.

The families of the children who were killed are also still fighting in the courts to get access to the full bodycam footage, audio recordings, and all records related to the shooting. All these years later, they are still seeking justice.

Someone should host classes teaching Black Americans how to respond when they encounter this kind of ignorance.
