Minos bends over, taking one of Ampelos’ arms and yanking it.
“Stop playing stupid games, pet. Or I will have to put you down.”
Ampelos merely huffs, crossing his arms and refusing to move from his spot.
"Well, you won't have to worry about me soon! I'll be gone from this place come winter."
A smile lifts his lips, curled with relief. He takes the chance to hold the god's cheeks, gently squishing.
"I suppose I have caused you far too much worry in the past, haven't I? I apologise, my love."
He leans up and gives him a sweet kiss.
Ampelos hesitates, guilt turning in his chest. He reaches out, laying a gentle, trembling hand on Dionysus's arm, peeking around to gauge his expression.
"Not willingly. I would be back come spring! If it were up to me... I wouldn't ever leave your side."
