The Rippasend campaign for Achromatic Chronicles: Green is off to a very slow start, having raised only $36k of it's $50k goal despite a campaign littered with pricey merch.
Will you be purchasing the $150 signed and graded collector's edition?
A Rippaverse fan posts that they are disappointed by the recent sales, with books they purchased for $30-$40 now discounted to just five bucks.
Eric responds.
In July 2023, Rippaverse Comics lied to their customers, advertising $35 comic books they claimed were limited-edition campaign exclusives.
One year later, those "campaign-exclusive" comic books are being sold for just five bucks in the official Rippaverse store.

Eric July has announced Rippaverse Memberships, a monthly subscription that gives fans early access to Rippaverse crowdfunding campaigns.
For just $99/mo, fans also get access to 30% off merchandise (but not the actual comics).

Eric July has never addressed the fact that he used fake FOMO marketing to sell his books.
It will definitely bite him in the ass on the Alphacore campaign. The speculators will not return.

Even on the very last day of the funding campaign, Rippaverse employees were still claiming Covers A and B were campaign-exclusives.
Did they not understand how unethical it is to lie about your product only being available for a limited time?
Or did they just not care?
This is the reason you overprinted Isom #2 by 50,000 copies and had to backtrack on your promise that certain covers were campaign exclusives.
You lied to your customers, and you think it's something to be proud of?
As noticed by @DickMasterson, the word "monthly" is the same color as the site background.
How many people have signed up for memberships not realizing it was a recurring fee?

Isom cover artist Shane Davis says he doesn't think his association with the Rippaverse has greatly benefitted the sales of his own books.
In fact, he seems upset it forced his diehard fans to pay an absurd $100 to get a copy of his cover.
