Feeling emotional. 2 years after joining the Somerset Covid-19 Vaccination programme on a 3 month secondment I'm moving on. 1.73 million vaccinations later its been an absolute privilege to help lead the programme to protect our population. Thanks for the opportunity @SomersetFT

6 months after a second dose of coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine, protection against death with Omicron was around 60% in those aged 50 and over. However, this increased to around 95% 2 weeks after receiving a booster vaccine dose. GET BOOSTED!!!
