Priorities are disturbing.. not the intention.. maternal and infant mortality rate, malnutrition, bodily autonomy, reproductive health and awareness, gender parity, economic independence, etc will come through expenditure on health and education.

Let's just not forget abt not recognising marital rape, dilution of laws against domestic violence, no strict law against honor killing.. wondering this would guarantee gender parity more

Legal age of marriage was increased from 15 to 18 for a girl in 1978.. yet in these years, we have failed to eliminate child marriages as there are still around 23% women in the age grp of 20-24 who were married before 18 (acc to NFHS 2019-21)
