@kaekaecurtis People seem to confuse Historial Accuracy to In-Universe Accuracy. Imagine if Cersei from GOT rocked up in 2024 prom dress, it wouldn't be correct at all, but that's a 'fantasy' story!

@rapturella @sylessae Ah yes I do agree. it’s such a large thing too, it soaks into every corner and changes what feels like even the simplest of moments as an artist

@rapturella @sylessae Its far more extreme now, everything is oversaturated in every sense of the word, but really its always been something an artist would eventually have to learn in one form or another

@rapturella @sylessae Even if I did traditional physical media only, selling my paintings would mean networking, cold calling, working with markets and galleries, producing work and getting it out there. Or hiring someone to do that work for me, which means having starting funds to pay for that
