@KitchenBee One of the questions for me is whether the decline is significant when we are eating more? Or how significant the decline is? There are certainly differences, in varieties, and from country to country according to preferred varieties. Worth exploring.

@danivalent @MikeRapajic I think we should be wary of modelling ourselves on US or UK perspectives. I’m struck by the number of restaurants in Melbourne who are working so hard to provide food, some employment, and who are building and maintaining relationships with locals/regulars.
Beware of Melbourne City Council parking. City stores are closed, most offices empty, nothing as it used to be EXCEPT for parking regulations. I copped a huge fine for having parked in a loading zone at 7pm.
