I’m very aware people think the threat of climate change is hysterical and overblown. But then there’s this. This is fact. A graph from the University of Reading. Does this look okay to you?
ARCTIC CARBON BOMB BLOWN CO2 & METHANE FEEDBACK
NOAA Arctic switched carbon sink to source, from 2016
All exposed permafrost emits CO2 & methane Irreversible, will increase & increase warming
Worst of all impact

From 1.5C to 2C of global warming is an increase by 33.3 percent.
Many people assume then that the negative impacts of this would also increase by only 33.3 percent. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The increase of damage is non-linear. This fact is one of the biggest missing pieces in public climate literacy.

Great news! The CA Assembly today greenlighted my #CALeg#SB59 - which would accelerate the ability of electric vehicle owners to use their EV's battery to provide backup power to their homes. @climatecampaign
Next stop, Senate Floor for final vote.
✨ Great news! #SB59 — @NancySkinnerCA's bill to leverage bidirectional electric vehicle batteries for clean, reliable backup power — just passed the Assembly! Pending a final concurrence vote in the Senate, this bill will be headed to Governor Newsom's desk.
Electrifying last-mile delivery trucks and municipal fleets is essential to addressing the pollution right outside our front doors, while electrifying port drayage trucks will clean up some of the oldest and dirtiest vehicles on our roads
These standards represent a big step toward solving chronic air quality problems in states that are impacted by diesel exhaust and other sources of toxic air pollution.
The benefits of the ACF rule in California alone are enormous as it will deliver roughly $26.5 billion in health savings by 2050 and is expected to save around 2,500 Californian lives by 2050.
Aligning truck and passenger vehicle sales targets to be 100% pollution-free by 2036 will align the separate markets to finally tackle one of the top sources of climate pollution.
The White House recently announced the launch of nearly $1 billion to fund the transition to clean heavy-duty vehicles. This will support the adoption and deployment of eligible class 6 and 7 zero emission vehicles.
Feasibility of ACF
Zero-emission trucks are here. We have the technology to end suffering from diesel pollution and put us on a path to clean air and relief for families that live with the health impacts of dirty trucks every day.
Communities living near ports, warehouses, and highways are severely burdened by diesel #AirPollution. The #AdvancedCleanFleets standards provide a life-saving solution — that’s why we’re calling on @EPA@EPAMichaelRegan to allow states to implement.
Glad to have had the opportunity to testify in favor of #CleanerTrucks progress at the @EPA hearing for the #AdvancedCleanFleets waiver! We’re calling on @EPAMichaelRegan@POTUS to ensure that this important authorization is granted without delay.
Great to see so much support for #AdvancedCleanFleets waiver authorization at today’s @EPA hearing! States must remain empowered to protect their air quality while laying the groundwork for the future of on-road transportation.
