Dealers are facing significant difficulties with the current E20 rollout. While the blend is capped at 10% in most countries worldwide, India has implemented a 20% blend. Consequently, the vehicles currently available in India are not fully compatible with this fuel. BS6 vehicles in India were not originally designed to handle this specific blend. This leads to issues like clogged carburettors and other mechanical failures. Customers then come to the petrol pumps and create a ruckus, even though the pump owners have no control over the situation. The government introduced the fuel, and we simply sell it. These problems, which were non-existent before, have only surfaced since the introduction of E20..."

No answers to why consumers don't get E0 petrol easily and at a lower rate?

No answer at all as to why the E20 research & published data is not in public domain & what was the methodology?

How are the Pre-2023 cars suddenly E20-compatible? Govt’s only reply was: “We are confident.” when asked : how are you confident ? The vibe was "Trust us bro!"

No data on how the Indian Petrol Pumps have upgraded their storage for E20 blended petrol wrt the moisture absorption risks.

What was the Vehicle test sample size wrt the vehicles pre 2023 for the mandatory E20 blended Fuel program? That my friends is a state Secret & Independent verification Doesn’t exist.

The only answer to this policy which affects millions of INDIAN vehicles and our own people’s money, is “trust us bro”!
