Gave @DopeRakshith 's new Wity model a Where's Waldo test.
Cut the page into 729 tiles and asked every tile one plain question: is Waldo here? No detector, no hints, no location. Just its eyes.
His tile came out #1 of 729. Whole search costs 0 dollars.

@bachu@DopeRakshith Thank you This is just the start. Already have a list of crazier ideas to try with it. And honestly, a model like this being built in Bengaluru makes it even more fun to back
@DopeRakshith Thanks man! Honestly the best model I've tested so far. Excited to see where it goes, especially more concurrency and a shorter median times.
On 36 real Waldo pages it found him 21 times. Random guessing gets 0.4 and that too when the code is not optimized for each image.
On my 300-task benchmark it matched Jev on text and edged ahead in accuracy, and on images it's in a league of its own.
Every number here is from a real run. The Waldo in the video I drew in code.

@DopeRakshith Think of Wity as a Jev-level decision model that can also see images.
I put it through 63,557 requests and 66,583 decisions in about a day, for $0.72 total. Median answer 886ms.
Waldo pages, spot the difference, and a 300-task head to head against Jev.
turned my Paper Pro into a tutor you write to by hand. ask how something works and it draws it β the diagram, the table, the whole thing, in ink on the page π

@PhilShteuck@PhilShteuck thanks man π honestly this is pretty much the direction i already had in mind for the next steps, so ill definitely be putting a pin on it.
Also I saw your Electric Broadsheet for RM earlier it was pretty sick
quick backstory: i didnt actually buy this thing. won the reMarkable paper pro as 1st prize in a hackathon, so i had this pricey tablet and not much use for it, and that got me tinkering. these apps are basically me figuring out what it can do and how far I can push.
@MaximeRivest cant wait for this honestly π remagic already opens up so much on the paper pro. an app store where we can just install each others stuff would finally make these expensive E-ink tablets feel worth it. appreciate everything youre building π
@MaximeRivest Based on this I created and Advance AI based learning note book that can teach , draw diagrams, illustrations, tables and its has colors for syntaxing and code as well

its great for learning honestly. it sketches the concept instead of describing it, and it all shows up on the page in handwriting. way easier to actually get something
