@MelFuller2001@SenSanders I mean, if you watch the clip, he admits that private jets are the only way to properly get around when you're doing several rallies a week and talking to tens of thousands of people. That sounds less like pride and more like just logistic indifference.
@Alconaut05L@SenSanders You do understand that local shores are not all the exact same height, right? Therefore, would it not stand to reason that perhaps the rising sea levels haven't really affected that specific area?
@Nancey_Peloser@SenSanders Something to consider is that we've been actively making efforts during that time, which have been delaying things and gradually expanding that timeline.
@Kenjatina_og Look, I'm not an Elon Musk hater, but the guy says this shit about timelines like on self-driving cars all the time and he's never been right about it. Why would he suddenly be right now? The guy is full of it.
@CountryFirstRep Bush looking back was certainly not our worst president, but he made a lot of mistakes and really didn't advance America in a meaningful and helpful way.
@TONYxTWO I'll put it this way too. I didn't agree with Charlie Kirk probably even a majority of the time. I am at heart just too much of what would be classified as a (centrist/sane) Democrat. But he was always respectful of people, and I thought he carried himself very well
Bill Burr explaining why he thinks women are overrated on live television is wild, and honestly I would have crawled under the desk right then and there.
Bill Burr: Women are overrated, right?
Conan O'Brien: We went from not listening to them to now it's just, you know, it's just ridiculous.
Bill Burr: Like that believe women. It's like, all of them? How about 85 percent? 87 percent, all right? But that last 13 percent that keys your car, sets your shit on fire.
What are your thoughts, drop them in the replies because there is no way he actually got away with saying this on late night TV
@kmarq1992@novogratz Yeah, Fatterman says very reasonable and honest things. I agree. He's probably a little too pro-Israel. But otherwise, I quite like the guy
@realbuckbell@novogratz The drift towards authoritarianism is definitely a concern. I'm all for institutional trust as a piece of my political views, but authoritarianism is bad for everyone.
@kimstrodamus@novogratz There is definitely something to be said for the Rockefeller Republican types. Gerald Ford, for example, was famously pro-gay marriage
