The only thing that matters is what shows up in the game = helping your team score runs and win games.
A problem is kids aren't fans of the game anymore for the most part.
A lot don't know what the different levels and divisions look like and could really care less.
Too many people are sugarcoating with players and parents and not caring about them enough to tell them the unfiltered truth. A lot have an angle to make money, and that's easier achieved by telling them what they want to hear.
Players are led to believe it's supposed to be easy, convenient and coaches are obligated to cater to them individually.
Portal players usually have had enough entitlement knocked out of them, to understand the majority of things they've been led to believe by dumb dumbs, were wrong.
Dynamic hitters miraculously walk a lot and rarely strike out.
They make pitchers work to get them out.
Want to immediately raise your batting average?
Stop helping the pitcher get you out and take more walks.
Have a plan.
Have an approach.
Be smart.
Have situational awareness.
The pitcher wants you to leave the on deck circle swinging.
When Lo Cain was in juco, he would do more before 8 AM than 99% of the players in the country would do all day.
He would lift, run, hit and throw before most kids were out of bed.
Yes, he did it, every day.
He refused to be denied.
He earned it.
He was all in.
I know he did it because I was with him.
Started playing in 10th grade and ended up playing 10 years in the big leagues.
He was never over coached, kept his circle tight and kept it simple.
It’s gonna be a pretty good view from here! Things are starting to take shape! What’s next? Stay tuned we have more on the horizon! @coastalAL_north@CACCWarhawksBsb
