Grasping every opportunity to work towards conserving Wildlife in Goa! Aligned with this mission,
The Goa Forest Department, in collaboration with the Entertainment Society of Goa's Cinephile Film Club, celebrated Wildlife Week with special screening of two wildlife films in the historic Maquinez Palace! Renowned Indian wildlife filmmakers, Gautam Pandey and Doel Trivedy graced the occasion, and interacted with audience emphasizing the need for wildlife conservation. The featured films included 'Looking For Sultan,' a gripping story about a missing tiger in the Ranthambore reserve, and 'Snakes SOS: Goa’s Wildest,' which highlights the remarkable snake rescue efforts of Ben and Louise in Goa.
Let us reaffirm our commitment to conserving Wildlife during the Wildlife Week Celebration!

@chikchik18@g_rajaraman Hey.. thanks for watching it. VR can really be a very deep experience, especially on a headset. This was especially for policy makers :)
I watched this amazing 11-minute video by Gautam Pandey on the elusive Snow Leopard in the tough Himalayan landscape. And I cannot even begin to imagine the thrill that the crew felt when they finally got to watch the amazing cat. #Wildlife#Nature#Earth

The Env Minister @byadavbjp tabled the Biological Diversity Amendment Bill in LS, reportedly w/o public consultation. Sources said there was only an internal consultation. Attchd objective and reasons. My initial opinion on the bill in the next tweets (1/n)
@koustubh_sharma Yup! Crossed the line for sure. only good thing that came out post this clip was the conversation about ethics around filming wildife restarted. With drones it's very obvious to see when an animal is stressed , harder to tell with photos and the lengths some go to make an image
Join Conservationist Mike Pandey as he takes you behind the scenes of the actions being taken to rejuvenate river Ganga, bringing about behavioural change in the people to keep it clean in Varanasi. Stay tuned for Ganga: River from the Skies, National Geographic. @cleanganganmcg
