Congratulations Nepal ЁЯЗ│ЁЯЗ╡
A former rapper, Balendra Shah was sworn in as Nepal's first Madhesi and youngest prime minister, tasked with restoring political stability and creating jobs in the Himalayan nation.
@CMShehbaz I extend my sincere gratitude to the Honorable @CMShehbaz for your gracious wishes. Pakistan remains a nation of immense beauty and a steadfast friend.
Congratulations to the Government and the people of Nepal on the successful and peaceful parliamentary elections held on 5 March 2026. This important democratic exercise reflects the aspirations and resilience of the Nepali people and the strength of their democratic institutions. Bangladesh looks forward to working closely with the new Government and the people of Nepal to further strengthen our longstanding friendship and cooperation.
Had warm telephone conversations with Mr. Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Mr. Balendra Shah, Senior Leader of the RSP.
Congratulated both leaders on their electoral victories and RSPтАЩs resounding success in the Nepal elections. Conveyed my best wishes for their forthcoming new Government and India's commitment to work with them for mutual prosperity, progress and well-being of our two countries.
I am confident that with our joint endeavours, India and Nepal relations will scale new heights in the years ahead.

Atithi Devo Bhava??
@KIITUniversity has become the first educational institution in India - that singlehandedly managed to tank our (already delicate) relations with Nepal.
After the tragic death of #PrakritiLamsal the institution decided to throw out ALL Nepalese students from the campus. But the students fought back - forcing KIIT to apologise.
But who's Advik Srivastava?? Why was the university trying to protect him so bad? Will there be #JusticeForPrakriti? Why did she take her life? Why is the Govt mute on this? Has India made another enemy of an old friend?? - https://t.co/NFCGu9cTVK
Deeply mourning the untimely passing of our beloved student, Prakriti Lamsal. Today, all senior functionaries of KIIT gathered to express our heartfelt condolences and stand in solidarity with her family, friends, and the student community. We are committed to ensuring justice and support for all. May her soul rest in peace.
What a disgraceful response by the staff/management. This is supposed to be a place for education. If these are the people who teach at @KIITUniversity , then it tells you a lot about the University itself. And, do check the university's last tweet. They are posting about a party...
Reading thorough the information, this is not a suicide, this is a murder! Hope that actions will be taken against the University not just for the death of Prakriti but also for mentally torturing all of these students
