You can really feel that stagnation on Miles more than Peter and that’s because you can’t have him grow up and be older than him so he’s forever stuck as high schooler
@4Evil_Resident2 Underwhelming? Sure, but I don’t think I’d got that far as to say unplayable. Definitely feels the most refined in terms of gameplay out of the three but I rarely go back to replay the full campaign LOL
@CopperKnight8 I could at least appreciate Ziegler was actually trying to do new things, it’s was all perfect but I thought it was pretty fun overall. I want to hope this new run will prove me wrong but we’ll seez
@AnarchyHamster Cody’s run felt like Miles was getting his groove back. It wasn’t perfect but it made me hopeful that Miles was going in a new direction for the first time in awhile.
15 years in this character’s existence and we’re still doing the “I think I’m finally getting the hang of this Spider-Man gig” shtick. Genuinely he should’ve stayed in 1610 dude.
So many of the whining about the Raimi Trilogy boil down to people wanting Spider-Man do be this frictionless wish fulfillment exercise (almost like say a....theme park of some sort) which directly contradicts the whole core of Marvel's Silver Age being powers that have drawbacks
