2024 के लोकसभा चुनाव में हमने देश के युवाओं से ‘पहली नौकरी पक्की’ देने का वादा करते हुए ‘1 लाख रुपए वार्षिक अप्रेंटिसशिप’ की गारंटी दी थी।

युवाओं के बेहतर भविष्य और बेरोजगारी से राहत दिलाने के लिए यह एक क्रांतिकारी योजना थी।

शायद मोदी सरकार को भी इसका अंदाज़ा था, इसलिए उसने हमारे घोषणा पत्र से नकल करते हुए ‘Employment Linked Incentive’ स्कीम की घोषणा की।

लेकिन दुर्भाग्य देखिए, इस स्कीम से एक भी युवा को लाभ नहीं मिला, क्योंकि ₹10,000 करोड़ की राशि आवंटित करने के बावजूद बिना उपयोग के वापस कर दी गई।

इससे एक बार फिर साफ होता है कि मोदी सरकार के लिए युवाओं का भविष्य कोई मायने नहीं रखता।

जब देश में बेरोजगारी चरम पर है और युवा हताश हैं, तब भी सरकार की यह लापरवाही सिर्फ चौंकाने वाली ही नहीं, शर्मनाक भी है।

The Waqf (Amendment) Bill is a weapon aimed at marginalising Muslims and usurping their personal laws and property rights.

This attack on the Constitution by the RSS, BJP and their allies is aimed at Muslims today but sets a precedent to target other communities in the future.

The Congress party strongly opposes this legislation as it attacks the very idea of India and violates Article 25, the Right to Freedom of Religion.

"It's time for the centre to end the #delimitation policy against the South and Punjab. It's time for the centre to repay and reward us for our great role and contribution in nation-building for the last 50 years. The South now demands an exemption from the delimitation formula based on population just like UTs and smaller states in #NorthEast.

Today, South has 130 out of 543 seats. It means a political proportion of around 24%. Political demand of the South is to increase this to 33% of Lok Sabha seats after delimitation. Anything less would reduce the South to a passive role as an audience in the political theatre of India.

I will soon pass a resolution in my state assembly on this issue. I request all friends to do the same in their state assemblies."

సనత్ నగర్, దాసారం బస్తీకి చెందిన మల్లెల శ్రీవిద్య సమస్య పత్రికల ద్వారా నా దృష్టికి వచ్చింది.

డీఈవో శ్రీమతి రోహిణి ద్వారా విచారణ జరిపించాను. శ్రీవిద్య పాఠశాలకు హాజరుకాలేక పోవడానికి ఆధార్ కార్డు లేకపోవడం కారణం కాదు అని తేలింది.

కుటుంబ కారణాల వల్ల ఆమె పాఠశాలకు దూరమైంది. నా ఆదేశాల మేరకు అధికారులు తిరిగి శ్రీవిద్యను పాఠశాలలో చేర్పించారు.

తను మంచి చదువులు చదివి… భవిష్యత్ లో గొప్పగా రాణించాలని మనస్ఫూర్తిగా కోరుకుంటున్నాను.

चमार स्टूडियो के संस्थापक सुधीर राजभर लाखों दलित युवाओं की कहानी को समेटे हुए हैं। वह अत्यंत प्रतिभाशाली हैं, नए विचारों से भरपूर हैं और सफलता के लिए आतुर हैं, लेकिन अपने क्षेत्र के शीर्ष लोगों तक पहुंच की कमी और सीमित अवसरों की चुनौती से जूझते रहे।

मगर, अपने समुदाय के कई अन्य लोगों से अलग, सुधीर ने अपना नेटवर्क बनाया। उन्होंने धारावी के कारीगरों की छिपी प्रतिभा को पहचाना और एक ऐसा ब्रांड खड़ा किया, जिसे आज विश्व के सम्मानित फैशन जगत में अपनी पहचान मिली है।

चमार स्टूडियो की सफलता यह साबित करती है कि कैसे पारंपरिक हस्तकला और आधुनिक व्यापार एक साथ आ सकते हैं, जिससे कुशल कारीगरों को भी उस सफलता में भागीदारी मिल सके जिसे वे अपने हाथों से गढ़ते हैं। आज, धारावी में सुधीर और उनकी टीम के साथ काम करते हुए, मैंने समावेशी उत्पादन नेटवर्क की अहमियत को महसूस किया - ऐसे नेटवर्क जो विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में कुशल श्रमिकों को आगे बढ़ाते हैं।

साथ ही, मुझे यह भी उतना ही महत्वपूर्ण लगा कि सुधीर को अपना ज्ञान और अनुभव दूसरों के साथ भी बांटना चाहिए। इसलिए हमने अपने मित्र रामचेत मोची को सुल्तानपुर से बुलाया ताकि वे सुधीर से मिल सकें और समझ सकें कि डिज़ाइन और इनोवेशन उनके व्यवसाय को कैसे नया रूप दे सकते हैं।

मैंने लोकसभा में कहा था कि खुशहाल भारत का निर्माण "समृद्धि और हिस्सेदारी" के मॉडल से ही संभव है। चमार स्टूडियो की सफलता दिखाती है कि यह मॉडल काम करता है - और मैं चाहता हूं कि ऐसा मॉडल पूरे भारत में लागू हो।

Sudheer Rajbhar of Chamar Studio encapsulates the life and journey of lakhs of Dalit youth in India. Extremely talented, brimming with ideas and hungry to succeed but lacking the access and opportunity to connect with the elite in his field.

However, unlike many others from his community, he got the opportunity to build his own network. He understood the latent skill of the artisans of Dharavi and he created a brand that is recognised in the most esteemed corridors of fashion globally.

Chamar Studio’s success highlights how traditional artisanship and modern entrepreneurship can work together so that skilled artisans get a piece of the success they build with their own hands. While working with Sudheer and his team in Dharavi today, I underscored the importance of inclusive production networks that uplift skilled workers across various sectors.

I felt it was equally important for Sudheer to share his knowledge and experience with others so we brought our friend Ramchet mochi from Sultanpur to meet him and understand how design and innovation can transform his business.

I spoke in the Lok Sabha about how a prosperous India can only be built through “production and participation”. Chamar Studio’s success shows this model works - and I hope we can replicate such a model all over India.
