I like to take things slowly, just like when I do things, moving step by step toward success, without rushing or being impatient. Pursuing a better life.
Elon Musk on why the absence of aliens would be far more terrifying than finding them
"I have yet to see any actual evidence of aliens, and I'm really deep in space. If there's some actual evidence of aliens or an actual UFO, I'll be there in a second. Is it a UFO, is it advanced technology? That would be very interesting, and hopefully they're friendly"
"If they managed to get all the way here from another star system, their technology is going to be far in advance. We'll be primitive compared to them"
"But I also think, if there aren't aliens, that's actually perhaps even a bigger concern. Because if there actually aren't aliens in our galaxy or anywhere near us, then this consciousness on planet Earth is like a tiny candle in a vast darkness. A fragile candle. And we should just do everything we can to make sure it does not go out"
Lindsay Clancy's lawyer is now screaming at the judge in the courtroom after the judge refused to remove the 1 male juror who is holding out from voting not guilty
Drinkwitz is exactly right. College football had become an embarrassment. No real eligibility rules, no real transfer rules, no real rules around paying the players. It’s a clown show. It’s stolen the joy from the fans. I struggle to care anymore.
While everyone is focused on crude oil...
Diesel is trading as if oil were ~$140 per barrel.
People say oil is the lifeblood of the economy....
But the backbone of our economy runs on diesel:
- ~80% of US freight by weight
- ~80% of global trade moves by sea
- Most farming
- Most mining
In other words, we're going to feel the inflationary pressure of ~$140 diesel while crude is struggling to stay above $80
Brace for inflation.
When you make Texas BBQ for thr 1st time but on hard mode... not bad for 1st try but also not great. Bit off a little more than I can chew with this one. Texas BBQ is not to be taken lightly
