The *CPUs* are #POWER9 Nimbus-Sforza modules made by IBM.
@RkRibbon @TheRegister IoT devices can be constructed from 100% libre software running on inexpensive SBCs such as the Beaglebone Black. No need to buy a commercial device that wants to phone home, make your own that reports only to you. Bonus points for releasing your software under a libre license!

@RaptorCompSys @TheRegister A disclaimer of course being that you need to use IoT devices that are *willing* to listen to you rather than their manufacturer in the first place.
But hey, it's not Raptor's fault that all IoT devices pale in comparison to #TalosII in terms of owner control.
@stewartsmith @Quantum_X4 @henriok2 @foxbat And it's still a fused-off chip; those nimbus #POWER9 chips are manufactured as 24-core, so even the top of the line 22-core is still a trimmed down version.

@adi_gangidi With Linux kernel 4.16 we have standard 3D GPU support through Vega. OpenCL is lagging somewhat due to still being merged upstream in pieces by AMD -- we hope that more of the required parts will land in kernel 4.17. Note that for 3D support the latest version of MESA is needed.
