@bbc where has OJ:Made in America gone?! We only just spotted it, watched episode 1, and now the whole series has gone. Please reinstate, if possible.... It was excellent!

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

I'm at Bolton College, for a @Jisc/@ucisa event, showing the fantastic things Aftab Hussain and team have done with chatbot tech #VoiceFirst

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

I'm at Lancaster university to see their pioneering work on chatbots and AI to support staff and students using Amazon tech, part of a Jisc /UCISA project: https://t.co/QvNFKzNfS6 @Jisc @ucisa

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

.@nengelbert @Dropbox students may not know what's "best" tech. Helping inform choices is sthg we should think about in HE. #FutureEdTech

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

#FutureEDTech theme so far: how to make HE (800 year horizon) agile ("student fb use fell 50% last year"). Is this bi-modal, 2-pace IT?

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

@GWRHelp how late is the Pewsey 7.20 to Paddington (just says delayed at the moment)?

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

@GWRUK how late is the delayed Exeter-Paddington train (due to arrive Pewsey 7.20)?

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

Jamie Anderson on how we react to "this VUCA stuff": volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity. Somehow reminds me of a uni cttee

[Adrian Ellison @adrian_ellison]

$2 buys you 300million attempts to hack via Cloudcracker. This is what we're up against... #ucisa16

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

#RIDE2016 Graham McElearney reminds us that the "lecture" derives from "someone at the front who can read and had a book"

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

Jeff Haywood of @EdinburghUni: reasons why not distant learning #RIDE2016

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

.@deeburn1 So, how are unis determining the targets for these offers, if no longer A-levels? And is it fairer or better?

[Efficiency Exchange @EfficiencyEx]

Kim Frost of @LondonU tells @efficiencyex that universities are the "most interesting" places he has ever worked: https://t.co/mxEfQux1ka

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

Met @LinneanSociety; Elaine Charwat's fave beetle from the archive @ulcc run, Hercules lifts 850x its own weight

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

#cisg15 @tobypriceis steps to get control of institutional data, keeping it simple, incremental delivery, an ambitious vision

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

Madness! On average re-submitting 30 times, to get 15 months out old data. More power to your elbow @AndyYouell! @HEDIIP #cisg15

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

@AndyYouell doing a great job of making government regulation clear & interesting for a Friday morning audience (without fruit) #cisg15

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

@pat3460 yes, does the govt want a free market or tight control of HE? #cisg15

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

@simonprice_info yes, and running Janet. My concern is subsidising their R&D initiatives from public funding #cisg15

[Richard Maccabee @RMaccabee]

Paula Vickers makes a valid point; why are JISC pursuing initiatives like student systems, CRM, FE destinations, etc? #cisg15
