Osiągnęliśmy 250 km/h na Centralnej Magistrali Kolejowej❗🚅

Dzisiejsze nocne testy systemu GSM-R na linii nr 4 zakończyły się pełnym sukcesem. Oznacza to, że pociągi pojadą tą trasą z rozkładową prędkością 250 km/h już w przyszłym roku❗

Pozwoli to znacznie skrócić czas podróży między Warszawą a Krakowem i Katowicami – nawet o 25 minut. ⏱️

✅ To efekt naszych kilkuletnich przygotowań Centralnej Magistrali Kolejowej do prędkości 250 km/h. To inwestycje w tory, obiekty inżynieryjne, sieć trakcyjną oraz systemy sterowania i łączności.

Zakończenie budowy systemu GSM-R na CMK było niezbędne do uruchomienia systemu ETCS poziomu 2. Zapewnia on ciągły nadzór nad prowadzeniem pociągu i jest wymagany przy jeździe z prędkością powyżej 160 km/h.

Przeprowadzone jazdy testowe są kolejnym krokiem do pełniejszego wykorzystania możliwości naszej infrastruktury oraz pociągów dużych prędkości @PKPIntercityPDP
