MARKET TRUTH:

This morning I was explaining today’s MLB model output to a buddy of mine.

The model had a total way higher than the market and I was trying to figure out why.

I told him the pitching matchup.

Immediately he starts ripping through the lineup talking about who can’t hit lefties, who might sit today, who probably gets pinch hit for after two trips through the order…

Suddenly the scoring environment looked completely different than the raw numbers.

The crazy part?

This dude knows baseball better than most people betting it every day.

And I can’t remember the last time he made a bet with less than 3 legs.

That’s the trap.

Smart bettors don’t lose because they don’t understand sports.
