@RpsAgainstTrump Vance seems to have been picked for VP as hes probably the worst person in America for the job. That helps protect Trump from removal for being totally incapable or breaking the law. Problem is how to stop Vance getting the job if Trump dies.

They soon abandoned Reform when picking a MP. Pleasing Makerfields by throwing £s at them is just a recipe for losing 2024 gains elsewhere.

As it is they have a novice running war and peace & two ministers with dire records, with the public , at NHS & Net zero. probably being promoted.

Party members need to understand that. Not panic mid term.

The fault was in discovering just how close Mandelson was to Epstein too late .

@bri_fiona @bmay Not if Burnham's 10 year plan means taxing other areas more. That means goodbye to lots of 2024 Labour gains. Makerfield was also odd.Why did it have so many Reform voters when it doesnt have the issues Reform recruits on? Beating Reform may be more difficult elsewhere.

@neheritagelib Starmers problem was that he didn't over rule Reeves on key tax proposals or spending needs.
We may now get to see what happens if you ignore the Treasury and markets for a 10 year plan no one has seen and won't produce results till years after the next election.

@psybertron Ukraine war is moving to a potential climax.Ukraine is isolating the battlefield &hitting military targets deep in Russia leaving Russians unable to ignore what they see. Putinm has lost but cant accept it. We need someone with Starmers skills to get us through a rising danger.
