As a society, how we treat children who are in conflict with the law goes a long way in determining if we are redirecting them towards a better future or condemning them to a life of crime and isolation.
Diversion as a fundamental restorative justice principle is about rerouting children away from the formal criminal justice system toward rehabilitative, community-based programs👌
In light of this, we are currently in Lagos for a 3-day diversion sensitization and implementation workshop under the criminal justice reform component of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC) Programme funded by the @euinnigeria and implemented by @international_idea
