Today in Geneva, I opened our High-Level Panel "Helmets as a Vaccine" 🪖, hosted by Amb. @LuigiVignali at the Permanent Mission of Italy 🇮🇹, with @DrTedros .

Safe, affordable helmets are a public health intervention on par with immunisation 💉. Yet millions still ride without one due to cost and availability.

Transforming Roads for the UN Decade of Sustainable Transport

Roads are the arteries of global mobility, connecting people, goods and opportunities. How road systems are planned, built and managed will determine whether the UN Decade achieves its goals.

Today, IRF is pleased to announce a commitment with @Arup, @ntroausnz, @RoadSafetyNGOs, @FIDIC, @iRAPSavingLives, ORIS Materials Intelligence and @WWF to advance:

🔹 Inclusive roads that improve safe rural access, connect isolated communities to essential services and rebalance urban space to prioritise active and collective mobility.
