People who didn’t vote for Trump in the primary but voted for him in the general are not Never Trumpers or RINOs. We voted for who we thought was best for America and to beat the Democrats. Our fellow Americans chose differently, and we respect that. We voted for the Republican candidate. Period. End of story. THX!
The most surreal thing of our trip so far. Currently driving towards Louisiana and the radio station we were listening to started talking about our trip and played Ella Langley especially for us😭😭😭
@timburchett@TPau6291 Let’s just be honest and say that these people are saying Karmelo Anthony had the right to kill Austin Metcalf because he was white. This isn’t a police body cam video showing someone resisting arrest. It’s firsthand accounts of someone being stabbed in the chest.
For Steyer to catch @SteveHiltonx, he’d need roughly 37 to 38% of the remaining vote, about 1.4 to 1.5M ballots, to break his way.
With 60% counted, Steyer is only pulling around 20%, so a comeback isn’t mathematically impossible, but it would require the remaining ballots to swing heavily not just toward Democrats, but toward Steyer specifically.
Just putting this out there in case the media and dems try to pull a fast one. They already declared Becerra as a finalist, and they’re saying Hilton and Steyer still have to battle it out for second place.
There is nothing to battle out here. Hilton won hands down.
This post probably won’t go anywhere, but to Senate Republicans: I strongly urge you not to get rid of the filibuster.
This strips away the 60 vote threshold for a bill to pass, which eliminates the rights of the minority party in the Senate.
The filibuster forces both parties in Congress to work together, ensuring that all Americans' voices are heard. Think about the long term when we are not in the majority. Be smart.
This is John Cornyn.
He received over $2 million from AIPAC and pro-Israel donors.
He just lost his race to Ken Paxton, who has received $0 from AIPAC.
Trump endorsed Ken Paxton. That’s why he won. Trump endorsed Ed Gallrein. That’s why Thomas Massie lost.
Regardless of the outcome of Spencer Pratt’s race, what he’s doing is authentically American. See a problem, become a part of the solution. His campaign ads are unconventional, but that’s the point; it’s refreshing. Instead of speaking like a career politician, he’s speaking as an American who sees and deeply understands how fragile the simple things in life are when leadership fails.
This is what this country is all about. Citizens willing to step into the political arena, unafraid, and challenge a failing system, much like the one that has destroyed Los Angeles. I hope moments like this inspire more Americans to throw their names into the mix, run for office, get involved and stand up for what makes this country exceptional.
@Osint613 I think most of “democrats” have fled to call themselves independent or nonpartisan. The democrats of the Clinton and Obama years are no more. John Fetterman is a good example, he is a democrat but has negative approval from “democrat” voters.
Marco Rubio is the frontrunner. And he hasn't campaigned, he hasn't cozied up to the online mob...he just simply and straightforwardly did the job he's been asked to do. Hint: Americans are sick of the drama, sick of the online trolling...they just want a guy who puts his nose the grindstone and demonstrates some gosh darn low-drama competence.
